ALICE BORG KWAAITAAL
DIVE
This illustration is the front cover for my animated short film called DIVE. A young competitive diver faces her biggest competition yet. Battling fear, self-doubt and the pressure to succeed.
Beatboard 9
Beatboard 9 showcases the last breath taken before the big final jump in my animated short film DIVE.
AMELIE PRIDEAUX
Background Design for Student film
This background of an old woman’s bedroom is one of many that I created for my film, ‘Maiden, Crone’. It functions as part of the film’s narrative, giving the audience clues as to who the character is.
Exploring Background Painting
This painting is part of a series of colour studies and speed paints. The aim was to give me a space where I could focus on improving my skills and also challenging myself.
Bosham harbour linocut
Bosham is a seaside village that has a very harmonious relationship with the local wildlife I illustrated as part of a visual essay focussed on the Solent area. This was for my negotiated project.
Golden hare of Rathlin island
This was completed for the Mammal society’s illustrator of the year award and it depicts the golden appearance that occurs with many of the Irish hare that are present on Rathlin island (Northern Ireland)
GEORGIA EDGE

A gouache painting illustrating the most nostalgic memories surrounding food.
Sounds Fishy
An illustration created using the painting technique known as pochoir.
HANNAH JENKINS
Flora Bunnies
A felt tapestry I made for the Women In Arts Network competition titled ‘Flora & Fauna.’ I chose to use British flora and merge them with rabbits to create a hybrid colourful textile piece.
The Flower Festival
A digital illustration for a promotional art assignment. This features woodland animals comprising of a rabbit, fox, mouse and red squirrel all parading with colourful flowers in a whimsical image.
JEMIMA BARNES
Theatre Model of The Hobbit
A wooden scale model of a potential theatrical run of JRR Tolkien’s The Hobbit, displaying the scene where Bilbo meets Smaug.
Inktober
Inspired by my love of films, I used inktober to push myself to create a film poster for every prompt, these two are from the prompts moustache and rowdy.
MADALENA SQUIRES
Sting
For our Inktober challenge I decided to interpret each prompt as a colouring book page, culminating to create a set of illustrations that form a colouring book. I drew much inspiration from my love of nature, pattern and fine line.
Butterflies on the Brink
This project focused on the worsening wildlife decline in Britain and specific species and habitats under threat. I wanted to convey through etching’s delicate line work the fragility of endangered butterflies and raise awareness for the species we may loose.
MADDISON DILLOWAY
Promotional poster
This piece was designed as a promotional item to go together with a 2-in-1 poster and sticker pack. The goal I set myself was to create a poster that I would be proud to sell, one that I believe embodies 3 years of artistic growth and my journey through university.
Banner & Bunting
This image showcases pieces from my degree show. The final collection explores my journey into becoming a tattoo artist. Featuring flash sheets, bespoke, and personal designs. The artworks shown here are bunting and a wooden banner, created as if they were decor for my own personal tattoo studio.
MAI BOONMEE
Porcelain thumbnail
A thumbnail for my animation.
Expression sheet
Character’s expression sheet for my film
Batsford- ‘Connections’
Exploring the connection between past and present art, as well as how it has allowed both myself and my practice to grow and improve.
BDFIL – ‘Running of water’
Using a character first created in 2021, I wanted to create a short narrative revolving around burnout and how pushing yourself too hard affects those around you.
VEX HADLEY
Contemporary Submissions
Two digital illustrations made for different online competitions. A pole dancer for “Feed Us Your Girls” and a teapot ninja for “Character Design References”.
Drag Designs
Three digital illustrations of my own drag designs. From left to right these were inspired by a sun deity, candyfloss and a steam train.
VICKY SZYMCZAK
D&AD New Blood Awards
A promotional Twix poster along with games to engage the audience when idle. Encouraging unity and teamwork, and a cure for boredom when waiting for transport, games like these may encourage people to buy Twix.
Pictoplasma character sticker competition
“Belle the bunny guardian” is a very upbeat and emotional character who is always eager to try anything new. Inspired by Tim Burton’s art style, I drew her having mixed feelings about birthdays and excitement when discovering something.
VISHAKHA CHAVDA
Personifications of the Sun and Moon in Mythologies Around the World
The Sun and Moon have captured people’s imaginations for eons, often depicted as gods in mythology. I created a mural of the Greek deities Helios and Selene quarrelling over dominion of the skies, with Helios wanting eternal day while Selene wants eternal night.
Pictoplasma’s Call for Sticky Characters
Continuing my exploration of early web aesthetics, I created a set of stickers mimicking the way I used to draw on Microsoft Paint, my main message being that the web should remain human, free, and unrestricted in creative expression.
