Gemma Moore is a PhD student with the Association for Dementia Studies at the University of Worcester. Prior to studying at Worcester, Gemma studied at the Hereford College of Arts and later pursued a Masters Degree in Fine Art at the Birmingham School of Art, as part Birmingham City University.
Gemma’s talk will discuss her PhD research question: Can mark making and exhibitions be used as methods of exploring communication, expression and the lived experience of people living with dementia attending Meeting Centres? The talk will outline the background and explore the current stages of the project.
