Levi Lajtai Animation Receives RTS Nomination

Levi Lajtai, a graduate from last year's Animation cohort has received nominations for his short film, Scratch, from the RTS student awards.

I am pleased to report that the film of one of last year’s graduates, Levi Lajtai, has been nominated for two categories at the RTS student awards. Levi who is from Hungary, has been nominated for the Animation and Editing categories. His short film Scratch seen here is treated on monochrome, and its not for the faint hearted. This challenges the perception of the Animated form being just a medium for Childrens’ story telling. It is also worth mentioning that Levi’s first year was ravaged by the successive lock downs. That year was particularly hard for our EU students who found themselves cut off from family and friends. This had a devastating effect on their wellbeing. Thankfully, the universities support both financial and emotional helped many of students cope with effects of the lockdown.

Congratulations Levi!
