Katt Jarvis’ work explores the construction of ‘one and the same’ a focused conversation piece investigating the anthropomorphic insights into the everyday automobile and its links to humans and animals alike through the use of photography, videography and audio-based installations. Discovering the romantic ideal of union with the natural world, humanity and the advancing technologies by looking at the internal and external visual comparisons of the human and the machine; the underlaying connections humans share with their vehicles, as part of their identity and an expression of an extended personality creating a focus upon the beauty of cybernetic ecology.
